Ever since the photograph was invented, a portrait shoot has been a a popular way of recording the family and these portraits become more treasured over time when loved ones are no longer with us or when the kids have just simply grown up! Think about the Victorians and the beautiful sepia images we still have from that period over 100 years later. Will your phone snaps still be around in 100 years? I reckon they’ll be gone in less than five years!

The portraits I shoot are more than just digital snaps; with a wealth of experience shooting both film and digital, I can create works of art that will be treasured for years to come and will be handed down as family heirlooms. Using all my skill and knowledge of lighting, both in the studio and outdoors, I will create superb images beyond the ordinary shot. The images can presented in bespoke, hand made frames or on one of our amazing ‘naturals’ ranges that have the look of a canvas but are printed directly onto wood for an outstanding gallery wall hanging.

Studio or Location, the choice is yours

As an experienced photographer I am happy working either in the studio or on location. Using daylight mixed with flash or reflectors, I enjoy location work just as much as working in the studio. The styles might be different but the quality won’t be compromised and the image will definitely stand out from the crowd.
