I met the Viamaster team through a shoot for Yorkshire Air Ambulance when they were having some of their trucks decked with air ambulance signage to raise funds for the cause. So, when Viamaster in turn were looking to book a Wakefield commercial photographer for a calendar shoot, they were kind enough to approach me. We decided on an early start up on Saddleworth Moor for the shoot and put the truck in various settings in some gorgeous autumn sunlight. Eventually, the clouds rolled in as we headed back to base but we called off at a couple of industrial sites on the way and did some more shots. I then had the idea to shoot the truck on the M62 as we headed back to Viamaster base in Castleford so we followed Adam, the driver, back to base waiting for gaps in the traffic to then pull alongside and get some shots from our vehicle. I think this could have been a winner with the correct background, something like Ferrybridge power station perhaps. Here’s a few from the shoot.
