Carrieanne boudoir shoot on location

Carrieanne booked me for her professional glamour and boudoir portfolio and today we did the shoot in the opulent surroundings of one of York’s finest boutique hotels. The location lent itself to the style of the shoot and using a few speedlights and by making the most of the sumptuous surroundings, we got some fabulous images. I really enjoy location shooting; using creative lighting to set the mood and atmosphere of the image is what I most enjoy and I love using the furniture and other props in the images to give us those magazine quality shots. Of course, all this rubs off on my wedding shots too and I use a lot of these lighting techniques during the wedding shoots, especially during the bridal preps. I’m always scouting for new locations to shoot in too, and we have our eye on the ultimate York venue for a “Celebrate the dress” shoot very soon!
