Following on from the e-session on Monday, I met up with Victoria and Craig to shoot their big day for real on what looked to be a gloomy day. However, I needn’t have worried as my run of 2009 glorious wedding weather luck continued and it came out blazing in the afternoon! After getting ready at The Cedar Court Hotel, Wakefield, the couple were married at Wakefield registry office (3 boo’s for the jobsworth assitant registrar!) and then had their reception with family and friends at the family owned Station Hotel, Crigglestone.
En route to the venue, we detoured to Thorne’s Park, Wakefield where we had a good shoot with the bride and groom and the bridesmaids. Down at the Station, Craig’s dad and Dale the landlord had done a great job in setting up the hotel in Victoria’s favourite colour – pink – and the guests were able to enjoy drinks outside in the warm September sun.
