I’ve just returned from taking a break from all my commercial photography duties as I have been in Hungary shooting wildlife for my other websites – Wildscenes. Nature photography was my first interest and I cut my teeth as a photographer by travelling the world photographing birds, animals and landscapes. Although nature photography is very much a hobby for me, I still enjoy the thrill of being close to wild subjects and so far this year have done three or four trips into Europe in search of nature. This trip was my first visit to Hungary and it was spectacular! I photographed around 60 species of birds in a week including the stunning bee-eater, roller, hoopoe and red-footed falcon! Here’s a taster but visit Wildscenes for more images as I get them online over coming weeks.
