Golden eagles in Sierra Espuna
The Christmas break was followed by an intense period of editing of all the lighting photographs I’d been shooting leading up to Christmas and also creating and designing a wedding album. I needed to tie up all my loose ends so I could don my Yorkshire wildlife photographer hat and jet off to Murcia in Spain to photograph golden eagles. Wildlife photography has always been my passion and it’s how I got started in photography and ultimately led on to my becoming a professional commercial photographer. We flew from Gatwick to Murcia as none of the airlines seem to publish flights in January from more local airports but it was not too much of a hassle. Once in Spain, we spent a couple of long days in hides high in the Sierra Espuna photographing these magnificent birds and you can read all about it and watch the video over on my wildlife photography website – Wildscenes
